History

The origins of the Aliaxis Group lie with Etex Group, from which it separated in 2003. Aliaxis has grown into a global leader through the progressive take-over of plastic pipes and fittings companies throughout the world, starting in 1980 with the acquisition of Nicoll in France.  Major steps in the Group's expansion include the acquisitions of the internationally present Marley and Glynwed Groups in 1999 and 2001 respectively.  Another important development has been the acquisition of the Durman Group in 2007, active in Central and South America.
